Congratulations!The following students were the recipients of the Sigma Theta Tau Iota Iota Chapter Diversity Awards
Rebecca Palfrayman - Country: ColumbiaRebecca attends Westminster College and will be using her diversity award towards traveling to Columbia. She will be practicing Spanish speaking skills, learning the culture and participating in various nursing and humanitarian projects.
Katie Hillary - Country: TongaKatie will be focusing on providing service in Tonga as well as assisting in research to better understand healthcare in Tonga. She anticipates these experiences will help her be more accepting and open to different perspectives on healthcare.
Abby Harris - Country: Finland/RussiaAs a recipient of a diversity award, Abby will be using this award towards increasing cultural awareness by working with nursing students in Russia, teaching single mothers about health, and learning about the health care system of Finland.
