Mike McNeil - Treasurer

Home State: Oregon

Bio: Hey everyone! My name is Mike McNeil and I am a third-semester nursing student from Beaverton, Oregon. Some of my hobbies include spending time with friends and family, traveling, eating, reading, and the occasional Netflix binge. I decided to go into nursing while I was working at a retirement community during high school and I am grateful to be in such an excellent program pursuing my long-time goal. I served a two-year mission in Fortaleza, Brazil and loved my experiences there. I joined SNA during my first semester of the nursing program and I have loved participating in the many activities and service opportunities. I believe that SNA plays an essential role in providing resources and opportunities as well as providing professional development to future nurses. I have served in numerous leadership positions in the church and during my mission and I currently serve as one of two student representatives on the College of Nursing Undergraduate Academic Council. I am thrilled to be serving as SNA treasurer this coming year and look forward to the many opportunities that will await members of SNA!
