Biography

Linda Orchard has over 30 years of nursing experience in hospital, home health and hospice, Education, and serving in several different nurse leadership roles. Linda is currently an Associate professor in the College of Nursing at Brigham Young University. Linda recently joined BYU College of Nursing after many years teaching at BYU-Idaho. Currently focused on developing progressive skills courses in the Nursing Learning Center.

Research Interests

Areas of research include Nursing simulation, Deliberate Practice for mastering psychomotor skills, Population Health and Nursing Education pedagogy.

Teaching Interests

Teaching interests include Fundamental theory, Population health and facilitating learning in the skills and simulation lab.
