All faculty are invited to attend and participate in the upcoming BYU campus-wide inaugural research conference sponsored by BYU’s Office of the International Vice President, the Office of Belonging, the Ballard Center for Social Impact, and the Sustainability Office.
You may choose to:
1) simply attend
2) prepare a 3-5 minute presentation on your own research project
3) both attend and present.
Event Site: For the Benefit of the World: BYU Faculty Research Conference
Purpose: To foster interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty, with a focus on impactful, mission-fit research topics in all regions of the world.

Conference Schedule:
- Registration and Booths 8-8:30
- Keynote or VP Panel 8:30-9:00
- Lightning research sessions organized by topic 9:00-10:30
- Collaboration time 10:30-11:00
- Special topics sessions 11:00-12:00 (Concurrent Sessions)
- Lunch and Booths 12:00-1:00
- VP Panel or Keynote 1:00-2:00
- Lightning research sessions organized by geography 2:00-3:30
- Collaboration time 3:30-4:00
- Share-out/evaluation/closing social time and Booths 4:00-5:00
Morning sessions will be arranged by issue area/topic.
Afternoon sessions will be organized by the geographic areas of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
(This allows faculty involved in international research and teaching to connect with other faculty who are also active in those global regions.)
Students are also invited to attend to learn about faculty-led research in these topics and regions.
