With such a small country, time here is split evenly between the hospital and community. With such small hospitals, opportunities vary depending on patient census. Community clinic experiences with the nurses as well as community screenings fro hypertension and diabetes. Student nurses here participate in a lot of community health education.

Culture Experiences:

Rich cultural experiences from beginning to end. Enjoy Tongan voices lifted a'capella in song and quiet Sundays where an island nation shuts down to worship. Enjoy visits to sites such as Ha'amonga, the blow holes, the temple, shopping for Tongan handicrafts and natural surroundings.
